6 DAILY HABITS FOR A MINDFUL LESS STRESS

While we can’t escape everyday stressors, we can control the way we handle them. Put your self-care routine as your priority, and practice to live in the moment. Having time for yourself should be a priority and will help you with stress and anxiety.

  1. Be grateful: journaling is a great way to practice thinking about what you have in your life, rather than what you don’t

  2. Acknowledge what satisfies you: For me is having a healthy routine, having my green tea lemon in the morning, walking my dog, making my bed, smelling my essential oils diffuser while relaxing in bed. Happiness usually comes from the most simple things.

  3. Breath: When feeling anxious or stressed step out, sit up straight, close your eyes and relax your shoulders, and focus on inhaling into the lower stomach, up to your chest, throat, nose, brain. Exhale through your nose. Repeat 5-10 times. This type of breathing is really powerful in reducing anxiety. If you want to learn more, head to Dr Joe Dispenza meditations.

  4. Walk: Look around you, get inspired, pay attention on what and who is around you! Don’t miss real life.

  5. Eat without your phone: when you are eating and scrolling through social media at the same time you end up eating mindlessly and usually forget to hear the signs to say that you’re full. Focusing on the taste and texture of your food will help you enjoy and appreciate the nutrients.

  6. Workout: At least 3 to 4 times a week! It will change your energy and will keep you motivated.
