The night before the wedding, Connor and I decided to be traditional and spend the night apart. Connor got a hotel room, which, looking back, wasn’t the best decision because I sleep so much better when he’s next to me! I don’t know if it was the wedding nerves, the anticipation, or the drinks we had on the boat the night before, but I literally did not sleep!

I had told my best friends to meet me for an 8 a.m. breakfast, and I was running on zero sleep. We had some food, and then I went back to bed. My cousin gave me a scrapbook of memories from my childhood, which made me cry tears of happiness.

I managed to recover some sleep and started getting ready. The excitement kicked in, and suddenly I wasn’t tired at all! My bridesmaids came over for photos, and we headed to the church. My dad gave me electrolytes in the car on the way there, lol, and then it was go time.
