Each year, Diane Von Furstenberg hosts an event and awards five women who have demonstrated leadership, strength, and courage in their commitment to women's causes. The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation grants each honoree $50,000 towards their non-profit organization, in order to further their important work.

In 2017, the event was hosted at the United Nation Headquarters in New York City and I was honored to attend with my top client. 

​

I was recognized as Diane Von Furstenberg’s top seller in the U.S. I was excited that my hard work paid off and that my passion for what I do every day had translated into a positive outcome for the company.

​

As a prize and a recognition of my work I was invited to the DVF Awards at the United Nations!- what a dream.

​

I got to go with my top client, we had a fun day of getting ready: doing our nails, then heading to a hair appointment at Dry Bar (where we had some mimosas), and then went to a makeup appointment at Sephora. Lastly, I got to wear a gifted DVF gown, one that I really wanted!

​

Being able to go to the UN, as well as hearing all the speeches of the strong, important women that we were awarding was incredible.

​

It was a lovely night of networking, great food, and great drinks.

​

I loved the performances and all the beautiful speeches that were given that night!
